Before Starting

Strong preparation is the key to a smooth onboarding. Before your Kick-off, review these essential topics with your team.


1. Define Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assign a project lead.

  • Identify who manages technical setup, pricing, integrations, and charger onboarding.

  • Ensure all responsibilities are clear from the start.


2. Identify Features & Integrations

  • List the features you need (e.g., Dynamic Load Management, Push API, OCPI).

  • Confirm any integrations with ERP, CRM, or payment providers.


3. Assess Need for a Test Environment

Recommended for:

  • System integrations (ERP, CRM, payment).

  • OCPI roaming testing.

  • Validate performance under different loads

4. Decide on a Pricing Strategy

  • Will pricing be managed centrally by the CPO or delegated to Site Owners?

  • Will pricing be standardized across the network or site-specific?

  • Clarify who configures pricing in the CPMS.


5. Migration-Specific Preparation

If migrating existing chargers into eMabler:

  • Data Cleanup → Prepare updated lists of drivers, tokens, sites, and chargers.

  • Supported chargers → Check if chargers are on our supported chargers list

  • Migration Flow → Plan for batch import vs. manual updates (e.g., SIM swaps, endpoint changes).
