Charge Detail Records

Charge Detail Records (CDRs) are detailed reports of electric vehicle charging sessions. They include information such as the start and end times, energy used, cost, and the location of the charging station. This helps in accurate billing, tracking usage, and managing charging stations effectively.

OCPI Specification

Charge Detail Records (CDRs) are available exclusively through the OCPI protocol. There is no support for CDRs outside of the OCPI specification.

Charge Detail Records have the following properties:

  • Last Updated
  • Start time (UTC)
  • End time (UTC)
  • Session Id
  • Transaction ID
  • Consumption (kWh)
  • Charger ID
  • EVSE UID
  • EVSE ID
  • Socket ID
  • Address
  • City
  • Country
  • CDR Token UID
  • CDR Token Type
  • Contract ID
  • Authorization reference
  • External Tariff ID
  • Tariff type
  • Currency
  • Total cost including VAT
  • Total cost excluding VAT
  • Total fixed cost including VAT
  • Total fixed cost excluding VAT
  • Total energy cost including VAT
  • Total energy cost excluding VAT
  • Total time cost including VAT
  • Total time cost excluding VAT
  • Total parking time cost including VAT
  • Total parking time cost excluding VAT
  • Total transaction duration

The filter categories for CDR are:

  • Start Time
  • Stop Time
  • OCPI Integration
  • Site
  • Charger

Here is an example of how a single CDR looks like:

Here is how you can navigate to Charge Detail Records in eMabler UI:

1. Click "Charge Detail Records" on the homepage.

2. On the "Charge Detail Records" page, select the desired start date using the filter.

3. Choose the start date from the calendar.

4. Select the hour for the start date.

5. Repeat the same steps to set the stop date.

6. You can also filter by additional options such as OCPI Integration, Site, and Charger. Then, click "Apply".

7. Click on the desired charging session to view its Charge Detail Record.

8. The Charge Detail Record for the selected charging session will be displayed here.
