eMabler UI

Before starting

Either if you are a new CPO or an existing CPO with existing chargers that need to be migrated into eMabler. We recommend thoroughly planning and outlining the steps and strategies for how you like to set up or migrate to the eMabler platform.

For everyone

1
Roles and responsibilities
Clearly define who is responsible for each task in the onboarding process.
2
Set a timeline
Establish a detailed timeline for executing each step, considering any dependencies
3
Pricing strategy
Who owns the pricing structure of the sites? CPO or the Site Owner? Is the pricing structure the same on all sites?
4
Need for Test Environment?
Assess the complexity of your case to determine if a test environment is necessary. Inform eMabler to set it up if needed. Read more about test environment.
5
Features and functions
What features do you need? Are there any third-party integrations that you need to use or other OCPI connections? If Yes, does eMabler have an existing connection? If No, please inform eMabler to make a test and create a “Handshake” between both parties. Please note that eMabler is only supporting the CPO role. Read more here.

For migration customers

1
Define users and permissions handling
Decide who will manage users and permissions – eMabler or the CPO.
2
Plan for data clean up
Identify the data that needs to be migrated and ensure it is clean and up-to-date. Data to consider: Drivers, Token, Sites (What site structure do you like to use?)
3
Migration
Is it possible to do a Batch migration? Are there any chargers you need to physically visit to change the “Endpoint URL” or SIM cards?
4
Need for Push API?
If required, schedule a meeting with eMabler developers to discuss the Push API setup. This is not available for customers with a “Starter package” subscription and mostly used by customers with a very special need. You can read more about it here.
