Compatibility with eMabler UI

Your existing account for eMabler UI is completely compatible to work with Connect once granted beta access. But because Connect and eMabler UI handle access control a bit differently you have to note a couple of things when using Connect & eMabler UI side-by-side.

Adding new operators in Connect​

When adding new operators in Connect they will get the permissions or roles you have assigned to them during creation. Permissions do not transfer to eMabler UI in any way. By default the new operator can access eMabler UI, but they won't have admin access there, only site access provided during creation. If your new operator requires admin access to eMabler UI, please provide it separately through eMabler UI.

Adding new operators in eMabler UI​

Same logic applies when adding operators from eMabler UI: operators get access to Connect but they don't have any permissions by default. You will need to separately assign them permissions or roles in Connect. Site access works out-of-the-box.
